Why I started managero.
I'm Toby Nieman, managero's founder. I built it for my stepfather, who runs The Independent Pedaler.
The paperwork problem.
He kept losing track of his paperwork, and he was annoyed at having to print out lots of documents all the time.
Over time he asked for more and more features, until managero grew into what it is now: the café's paperwork on a phone. It handles temperature forms, HACCP, allergens, delivery checks, menu costing and design, rotas and more.
Every entry has a name and a time against it. When an inspector asks to see your records, you export them and hand them over.
It's quick to set up. Upload the forms you already use, or photograph the ones on the wall, and you can be on paper one day and on managero the next.
