How it works

From opening up to locking up.

Here's what managero does during a normal service, and what it gets on with while nobody's looking at it.

The day's list turns up on its own.

Set how often each check happens, once. Opening and closing, cleaning, deliveries, fridge and freezer temperatures, the weekly fire alarm test. Each one appears on a staff phone on the day it's due, so Thursday's job doesn't depend on somebody remembering it's Thursday.

Nobody installs anything. managero runs in the phone's browser, and everyone is invited by email and signs in as themselves. That's how a name ends up against every reading.

No signal in the walk‑in? Carry on.

There's rarely any signal by the freezers, so managero doesn't need it there. The reading is held on the phone and lands on your account when whoever took it steps back out.

The time stored against it is the time they typed it, not the time it reached us. So a reading taken at 7:02 says 7:02.

Photos file themselves.

Point the camera and the picture attaches to that check, with the time on it and the name of whoever took it. Nobody has to sort through a camera roll on a Friday afternoon.

When something's off, it asks what you did about it.

A fridge reads out of range, or a check gets marked as failed, and managero asks for the corrective action there and then. Whatever gets written prints straight under the problem. Whether the food was safe is still your call, not the app's.

It also emails you, and whoever manages that site, at the moment the record is written. So you hear about the grumpy fridge on Tuesday, not at the end of the month.

Two sites, one login. Or five.

A second branch isn't a second account. Each site keeps its own fridges, checks and team, and access is granted per site, so the people who work at one don't see the records of another.

When someone leaves, mark them as left. They lose access straight away, and everything they recorded stays put, with their name still on it.

Keep your paper sheets. Well, a photo of them.

Photograph the sheet on your office wall and it comes back as a form your staff fill in on their phones. A line it can't read comes back flagged.

Set up from your paperwork

Your food safety plan lives here too.

managero drafts your food safety plan from what your site already records. You read it, change what needs changing, and adopt it by signing. Until then it says DRAFT, in big letters, so nobody mistakes one for the other.

Every record lands the day it's made and stays put for five years. Nobody files anything.

See it run on your own checks.

Upload the check sheets you already use, check the forms managero makes of them, and you watch a week of service land in it. Here's how setup works.
