- Do my staff have to download anything?
- No. managero runs in the browser on any current smartphone. Each person is invited by email.
- What does the inspector get?
- A dated PDF with your business name on it, covering the sites and the dates you pick, plus the same records as a CSV if they'd rather have the numbers. You can also give them a read-only link that opens without an account, and switch it off afterwards.
- What happens to my records if I stop paying?
- You keep them, and you can still read them. When a subscription ends we email the account owner a complete PDF and CSV export, and signing in to read, search and export what you've already recorded stays free. That's section 8 of the Terms of Service.
- What happens when the free trial ends?
- Nothing is charged unless you've chosen to subscribe. If you haven't, new entries pause, and everything you've already recorded stays readable and exportable, free. Subscribe whenever you like to start recording again. The trial is 14 days, or longer with a welcome code.
- What about the harassment duty that started on 30 October 2026?
- managero HR & Safety is in the same subscription: a policy and risk assessment drafted from your answers, training videos, a private harassment log and concern reporting. See managero HR & Safety.
- Do I have to bin my paper sheets?
- No. Photograph the sheet off your office wall and it comes back as a form your staff fill in on their phones.
- What if someone leaves?
- Mark them as left and they lose access to every site straight away. Nothing they recorded is deleted. Every check they ticked and every form they signed keeps their name and stays in your records for five years, and if they come back you can restore them.
- Can I run more than one site, and who sees what?
- Yes. Each site keeps its own fridges, checks and team, and staff only see their own site.
- What about the walk-in, where there's no signal?
- The reading is held on the phone and lands on your account when whoever took it steps back out.
- How long does setup take, and what do I have to do?
- About 20 minutes for one site. Upload the paperwork you already use and check what managero makes of it, or start from the starter library.
- Can I see it working before I sign up?
- Yes. Book a 15-minute walk-through, or start the free trial and try it on your own checks.
- I've just had an inspection. Where do I start?
- With the report. Our page for owners who have just had an inspection covers the scores, the right to reply, appeals and re-rating visits.
- Can I sign up on my own?
- Yes. Sign up and set the account up yourself from the paperwork you already use. 14 days free. No card until you decide. After the trial it's £18.99 a month for your first site and £12 for each site after. There's no VAT to add, and no minimum term and no notice period.
