Set up from the paperwork you already have.
Upload whatever you'd normally print for onboarding or compliance. managero reads it into forms, fridges, invitations and a filed vault, and you check it before it's added.
Drop the whole drawer in. No sorting first.
Drag everything in at once, or photograph what's pinned to the kitchen wall. managero works out what each file is, tells you why, and shows where it'll go. If it's got one wrong, change it from the list.
A file it can't place is left unsorted for you to place, rather than guessed. Right-to-work scans and sick notes often live in the same drawer, so anything that reads like health information or an ID document can only go to the vault or stay unsorted. It never becomes a form or a staff record.
Four steps, and your paperwork does most of them.
-
Sign up
Use the access code we send you, then name your business and your first site. managero is in beta, so sign-up needs a code for now.
-
Upload what you'd normally print
Your temperature log, opening and closing checks, cleaning schedule, staff list, food safety policy and certificates. One drop zone takes the lot, and a checklist beside it ticks off what you've covered.
-
Check what managero made of it
Each file shows what it'll become. Fridge and freezer safe ranges sit beside the page they came off. A line it couldn't read comes back flagged, and nothing is added until you approve it.
-
Your team starts recording
Everyone's invited by email and signs in on their own phone. The day's checks turn up on the day they're due.
What you can upload, and what it becomes.
-
Fridge and freezer temperature log
managero reads the units and their safe ranges off it. You check each one against the page, and only then does it become your kitchen.
-
Opening, closing and daily check sheets
They come back as forms your team fills in on a phone, and the yes/no lines are offered as your daily checks. A line it can't read comes back flagged rather than guessed.
-
Cleaning schedules and other forms
Into your form library, ready to assign on whatever cycle you run them.
-
Staff list
One invitation per person, sent when you approve it. A CSV is read straight away in your browser. From a photo, PDF or Word file it reads names and email addresses, and an address that isn't on the page is left blank, never guessed.
-
Certificates and policies
Food hygiene and allergen training, public liability insurance, gas safety, EICR, PAT, pest control, your food safety policy. Filed in your document vault. Add the expiry date and managero marks it as expiring 30 days before it runs out.
-
Your menu
If you've switched menus on in Settings, a photo of your menu is read into sections, dishes and prices. Every price stays unconfirmed until you check it, and allergens are never read off it. You declare those yourself.
Photos from your phone, PDFs, Word documents (.docx) and CSV files, up to 10MB each. Got a spreadsheet? Save it as CSV first. managero reads up to ten files an hour for each account. A file past that is marked so you can try it again later.
Carry on while it reads.
Reading takes from a few seconds to half a minute a file, so a handful of files takes a minute or two. You don't have to watch it. Press Submit and carry on naming your fridges and checks, and come back to a list to approve.
As soon as you approve something, it's in: a form ready to assign, an invitation on its way, a certificate in the vault.
Still filling in paper? Keep a photo of it.
Photograph a completed sheet and it's filed as a record, with the day it covers and the day it was filed, and it prints in the export beside everything recorded on a phone.
For a filled-in temperature sheet, managero can read the readings off the photo. You confirm each one on its own line, beside the picture, before it's saved.
No paperwork? Start from ours.
Pick standard forms from the starter library: opening and closing checks, delivery checks, probe calibration, a cleaning record, the weekly fire alarm test, emergency lighting, extinguishers and the first aid kit. Once copied, each one is yours to change.
Name your fridges and freezers, say what kind each one is, and the usual UK safe range is filled in for you. Then type the daily checks your kitchen actually does. Apart from your first site, any step can be skipped and come back to.
Find the folder. That's most of the work.
managero is in beta, so sign-up asks for an access code, which we send you. Book a demo, or email us for a code and set up on your own.
